HOW-TO VIDEOS: Heavy-Duty Sized Wheelchair

HOW TO UNFOLD

To UNFOLD the heavy-duty sized wheelchair you will place one hand on the top of the backrest and with your other hand pull apart the footrest from the backrest at top of the chair. With one hand push the black lever forwards to lock the frame.

HOW TO FOLD

To FOLD the heavy-duty sized wheelchair you will unlock the black lever on the back of the chair below the seat cushion. With one hand push the backrest towards the floor. Place one hand on the top of the backrest and with your other hand pull the footrest up to meet the backrest at top of the chair. It’s that simple and you can fold it with ONE Hand.

REMOVING THE MagSHOCK & HD BATTERY

There is a black plastic release push button located inside the metal circle frame of your wheelchair. Push that button and pull the battery out from the chair.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

To charge your wheelchair, plug the round silver end of the charger into the bottom of the joystick. Our charger only takes 5-hour to completely charge your wheelchair. Our surge protector on the charger allows you to travel around the world and safely charge your chair into 220 wattage outlets. Our chargers have a wattage range of 100-240. You can also charge each heavy-duty batteries separate from the chair by removing the round silver end and plugging  directly into each battery.

USING MANUAL POWER

On the top of each rear motor wheel is a red lever. Push that red lever forward to disengage the motor wheels and brakes. This will allow you to push the wheelchair manually. You can use this feature when you want to stretch your legs and walk for a bit. You can use your wheelchair like a walker or rollator by holding on to the backrest and pushing your chair. When you are tired of walking, just pull the red levers back and the chair is back in power mode.

HOW TO ENTER THE CHAIR

There are many ways to enter the chair. Since we are owned and operated by people in wheelchairs we have thought of everything in our design. You can do a pivot or slide transfer from one seated surface to your chair, just lift up either side armrests. You may also flip up the footrest and back into the chair if you are using a walker or cane.

HOW TO EXIT THE CHAIR

There are many ways to exit the chair. Since we are owned and operated by people in wheelchairs we have thought of everything in our design. You can do a pivot or slide transfer from your chair to any other seated surface, just lift up either side armrests. You may also flip up the footrest and step out of the chair to get into a walker or a cane.
