We offer a Travel Cover to protect your FOLD & GO from those dreaded “Baggage Handlers”. We all know the wear and tear they can cause on our luggage. Our heavy duty travel cover will help protect your chair and keep everything in one place. The velcro straps fit perfectly around your chair, so you can cover your chair in seconds while you are on the gangway getting ready to board the plane.
When you gate check your FOLD & GO you are in control and are ALWAYS the first to board the plane. Then just put on your travel bag around your FOLD & GO so it gets put under the plane. After you land your travel bag can be folded up and put inside your storage pouch just under the seat of your chair. We have thought of everything to make Globetrotting simple and easy!
NEVER CHECK YOUR FOLD & GO WHEELCHAIR LIKE A SUITCASE – DRIVE YOUR CHAIR TO THE OPENING OF THE PLANE!!
- STEP 1: Store your Travel Cover under your seat and on top of the storage pouch.
- STEP 2: Once at the plane entrance REMOVE your joystick (quick-connect cable) and take it on the plane with you!!
- STEP 3: Fold up your chair
- STEP 4: Slide the Travel Cover over your folded up wheelchair.
- STEP 5: Slide the velcro under your chair and attach it to the other velcro side
While driving around the airport, simply fold up the travel cover to store under the seat of your wheelchair. Once at the plane entrance REMOVE your joystick (quick-connect cable) and take it on the plane with you!! If Baggage Handlers happen to put a suitcase on top of the joystick that might crush it during your flight. Be safe and REMOVE it and put it in your carryon bag.
Since We are in Wheelchairs Ourselves, each accessory has been tested on our personal FOLD & GO Wheelchairs to ensure it meets our FOLD & GO criteria
- MUST be Arthritis Friendly – (no dexterity limitations)
- MUST be able to FOLD the wheelchair with the accessory in place
- MUST be able to UNFOLD the wheelchair with the accessory in place
- MUST be WeatherPROOF just like our chair
- MUST fit on the chair along with ALL the other Accessories we sell
